Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn after being charged with sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy

American rapper Sean “P Diddy” Combs, despite being behind bars, has the unwavering support of his children. The 54 year old Bad Boy millionaire, who fathered seven children with four different women – including four kids with his late ex-girlfriend, actress Kim Porter, was arrested last month in New York and subsequently charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, transportation and engaging in prostitution.

Over the past year, several lawsuits have been filed against him alleging physical or sexual abuse, including one from his former girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie, who accused Combs of rape and a decade-long pattern of abuse. Last year, Diddy “vehemently denied” Cassie’s allegations and has pleaded not guilty to his charges.

Currently, the music star is incarcerated in the infamous Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, while Texas lawyer Tony Buzbee has announced 120 new alleged victims with abuse claims against him. Of these, 25 claim they were underage when the alleged abuse occurred.

Diddy has denied all accusations. A source recently revealed to TMZ that all of Diddy’s children are standing by their father, whom they still regard as a great dad and love dearly.

This includes his four children with Kim – Quincy, Christian, Jessie, D’Lila – as well as his son Justin, whom he shares with fashion designer Misa Hylton, and daughter Chance, whom he shares with businesswoman Sarah Chapman. He is also the father to one year old Love, whom he welcomed in 2022 with model Dana Tran, reports the Mirror.

Last month, Diddy and Kim’s children addressed rumors about an alleged book their late mother had supposedly written before her death. The supposed memoir contained accusations of Combs assaulting Kim, along with other shocking claims reportedly leaked by her friends.

Chris Todd, the book’s publisher, alleges that Kim shared a hard drive of her writings with close friends, which he edited under the pseudonym Jamal T Millwood. The book, titled Kim’s Words: A Journey for Justice from the Other Side, was posthumously released on Amazon.

The children issued a statement saying: “We have seen so many hurtful and false rumors circulating about our parents, Kim Porter and Sean Combs’ relationship, as well as about our mom’s tragic passing, that we feel the need to speak out. Claims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue.”

“She did not, and anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves. Additionally, please understand that any so-called ‘friend’ speaking on behalf of our mom or her family is not a friend, nor do they have her best interests at heart.”

The statement continued: “Our lives were shattered when we lost our mother. She was our world, and nothing has been the same since she passed. While it has been incredibly difficult to reconcile how she could be taken from us too soon, the cause of her death has long been established.”

“There was no foul play. Grief is a lifelong process, and we ask that everyone respect our request for peace as we continue to cope with her loss every day. We are deeply saddened that the world has made a spectacle of what has been the most tragic event of our lives. Our mother should be remembered for the beautiful, strong, kind, and loving woman she was.”

They said. “Her memory should not be tainted by horrific conspiracy theories. We ask that everyone please respect our mother, Kim Porter, and hold her legacy in high regard so that she may rest in peace. It’s what she deserves. We love you and miss you, Mommy. Quincy, Christian, Jessie and D’Lila.”

Additionally, in regards to speculation about his family dynamics, Diddy clarified the nature of his relationship with a young girl named Ava Baroni in a previous video where he refers to himself as her “adopted father.” The Instagram live from 2020 has Diddy sharing he “adopted” her to provide her with a “Black parent.”

However, it has since been reported this adoption was not legal but was part of a skit. In the video, he affectionately kisses Ava on the cheek and prompts her to introduce herself, after which she declares her name is “Ava” followed by Diddy playfully adding “Ava Baroni-Combs.”

Ava shared her unconventional upbringing by saying she was “on the streets” before hip-hop mogul “Papa Combs decided that he was going to be a caring man.”

Rapper Diddy then grabbed headlines by joking, “Yes, it’s breaking news. Diddy adopted a white child,” urging Ava to narrate the tale of her adoption: “I want you to tell them the story of how I adopted you. You still have beautiful parents, but you’re my child also. Please, tell the story.”

With a laugh and Diddy’s son, Quincy Brown, behind her, Ava recounted, “So, I was on the streets, and then Papa Combs decided that he would like to be a caring man. So then he saw me and decided to pick me up. And said to come inside and play with his kids.”

Concerned for clarity, Diddy chimed in, “Ava, that’s a little borderline suspect. I adopted you like Madonna adopted kids, and everybody else adopted kids, Charlize Theron, Sandra Bullock. I adopted you because I felt that you could enjoy having a Black parent to take care of you, and help you out. So just clarify it, cause it’s crazy out here online.”

He then made sure to emphasize that the arrangement had her mother’s approval: “You play with the kids, and I got permission from your mother, say all of that.”

Ava, confirming her friendship with his daughters, added, “Well, I met Jessie and D’Lila when I was six-months-old. And then we basically are sisters.” However, TMZ reported last month that Diddy is not Ava’s biological father and has never legally adopted her. The outlet revealed that Ava has known the twins since childhood but is raised by her own parents.

Her parents are reportedly friends with Kim, and she maintains a close relationship with D’Lila and Jessie. Diddy has not played a parental role in Ava’s life, and she and her family have kept their distance from him.
