Tony Bellew has been impressed with Moses Itaumaâs rise.
The young heavyweight has made an impact in the division and currently is the hottest prospect to take up the mantle from the likes of Oleksandr Usyk, Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.
The 20 year-old hopes to beat Mike Tysonâs long standing record of becoming the youngest heavyweight champion in history (20 years and 145 days) and while that appears unlikely he looks set to challenge the elite in the division in the not too distant future.
Last time out he blitzed Demsey McKean and stopped the Aussie in the first round when the fight was expected to be a challenge for Itouma.
Tony Bellew believes he could beat current IBF title holder Daniel Dubois once he gains more time in the ring.
Speaking to Casino Utan Spelpaus he said: âI just think heâs an exceptional fighter, everything about him, his demeanor, his attitude, everything. Heâs in his own time. He presses when he wants. Heâs quality.
âI just think heâs very, very good. And then add to that, heâs a southpaw as well. And I think within 18 months, heâll be fighting for a world heavyweight title.
âThereâs no fear. I just think, given a little bit more experience, Iâd favour him to beat the next crop of heavyweights, the likes of Daniel Dubois.â
