Will Smith has publicly distanced himself from Sean Combs, aka Diddy, while referencing the memes on social media that connected him to the musician. The Oscar winner made sure no one thought he might be involved with Diddy, who is currently behind bars and awaiting trial for s*x-trafficking, s*x crimes, and his “freak off” parties.

While at The Observatory North Park in San Diego on Thursday, December 12, the actor and rapper took some time to address the crowd in the middle of his show.

Smith clearly stated during his impromptu speech that whatever speculation there was regarding his association with Combs was all a lie. He said:

“I ain’t been nowhere near that man [Puffy], I ain’t did none of that stupid sh*t. So whenever y’all hear it, if somebody says that, it’s a damn lie.”

Will Smith also admitted that some of the related memes he’s come across were funny, before bringing up the online chatter around them, which he spoke about for the first time. As per Variety’s December 13 report, he said:

“The world we’re in right now, it’s really hard for y’all to discern what’s real and what’s true. I been seein’ y’all memes and stuff. I see the memes. Some of that stuff is funny, some of it’s funny. But I haven’t addressed any of this publicly, but I just wanna say this very clearly: I don’t have sh*t to do with Puffy.”

The Independence Day actor further admitted that the alleged memes he mentioned had been getting to him, telling the crowd that those memes “were doing too much” and that they were “having me [him] mad.”

Will Smith denies being involved in Diddy’s infamous “freak off” parties

In the video from Will Smith’s show in San Diego, which made rounds on social media, the actor called the speculations and memes about him and Diddy “bullsh*t,” and asked the public to stop spreading it. As per Variety, he said:

“Ya’ll can stop all them memes. Stop all of that bullsh*t.”

He also reiterated that he has no connection with Diddy or his “freak off” parties. With speculations running rampant regarding the Hollywood elites and celebrity guests who frequent Diddy’s infamous parties, Will Smith clarified that he is not one of them. He explained how he has enough of his “own sh*t” to deal with, saying:

“I ain’t been nowhere near no damn freak-off. Listen, I do enough of my own sh*t. Don’t be putting me in other people’s bullsh*t.”

As seen in the above clip, Smith also poked fun at the large quantities of baby oil reportedly seized by authorities from Diddy’s home. The actor-rapper told the crowd, “I don’t even like baby oil,” before laughing.

Will Smith’s comments distancing himself from Combs come just days after Jay-Z made headlines for getting named alongside Diddy in a refiled s*xual assault lawsuit. The December 8 civil suit alleged that he and Combs r*ped a 13-year-old in 2000. Jay-Z has since denied the claims, telling E! News, in a statement dated December 9, that the claims were “heinous in nature” and “idiotic.”

He also challenged the unnamed accuser to file a criminal complaint instead of a civil one if any of the claims were true.
