According to Page Six , the group of lawyers continues to file a lawsuit to release Sean ” Diddy ” Combs on bail. This is the third time the hip hop mogul has done this after efforts to get him out of jail were rejected.

Previously, the Southern District Court of New York twice denied bail to the tycoon due to concerns that Diddy obstructed justice and bribed witnesses. Meanwhile, Diddy’s legal team requested his immediate release on the grounds that “the court did not have enough evidence to detain him and the legal process was flawed.”

Diddy’s team argued that the court failed to provide convincing evidence that Combs posed a danger to the community or tampered with a witness if released on bail, calling the charges “vague and speculative.”

Diddy’s lawyers continue to claim that the district court reached its verdict without analyzing the evidence. The legal team also asserts that the hip-hop mogul followed legal procedures and surrendered his passport. The rapper only wants to be released on bail and placed under house arrest.

In his two previous bail applications, Combs’ legal team requested a house arrest order with GPS monitoring. The bail application stipulated that the tycoon would not be allowed to use a phone, access the Internet, and be under 24/7 surveillance. Except for his mother and children, no one else would have access to the tycoon. Diddy also submitted to weekly drug tests.

The hip hop star is also willing to post bail of up to $50 million, using his $48 million Miami mansion and another home as collateral.

However, Diddy’s bail requests were repeatedly rejected by the court. Prosecutors were concerned that Diddy’s bail would threaten witnesses. Diddy could flee because he had a private jet and a huge fortune. The court also found that Diddy was facing serious charges such as extortion, using sex videos to threaten victims, using illegal drugs, etc. Diddy’s request for bail was impossible.

According to the 14-page indictment, federal agents found 1,000 bottles of baby oil, various drugs, and three guns when they raided Diddy’s Los Angeles mansion in March. Prosecutors allege the hip-hop mogul abused, threatened, and assaulted women and others for decades. Diddy is also accused of bribery, obstruction of justice, and creating a criminal organization with multiple high-ranking members.

According to Page Six , there are many A-list celebrities involved in Diddy’s case and are worried that everything will be exposed. Meanwhile, the sex kingpin denies all allegations. He is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, awaiting trial. If convicted, Diddy could spend at least 15 years in prison.
