Elon Musk has accused Eminem of attending P Diddy’s parties in a wild tweet – and it’s not the first time the SpaceX founder’s links to the rapper have been brought to light
Elon Musk has sparked controversy with a cryptic comment about Diddy’s notorious parties. The Tesla magnate threw shade at Eminem, who recently supported Vice President Kamala Harris against former President Donald Trump at a rally, hinting that the rapper might have ties to the disgraced music mogul. On X formerly Twitter, responding to a post about Eminem, Elon quipped: “Yet another Diddy party participant.”
Fans were quick to defend against the insinuations as past connections between Musk and Diddy resurfaced in light of Musk’s tweet. Recent claims suggest that Diddy was among the select contributors who assisted the SpaceX CEO in acquiring Twitter, which Musk rebranded as X.
Legal documents from journalist Jacob Silverman, who succeeded in his legal battle to compel Elon to disclose the financiers behind the buyout, listed P Diddy’s name. According to Futurism, during a chat with Revolt CEO Detavio Samuels in Elon’s inaugural week at the helm of X, Musk acknowledged Diddy’s stake in the platform.

Futurism quoted Elon saying: “I don’t know if you know this but Puff [P Diddy’s former stage name] is an investor in Twitter. You know, he’s a good friend of mine. We text a lot.”
Eminem’s feud with Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, predates the Diddy’s recent legal troubles and allegations of sexual assault leveled against him. The 54-year-old was arrested on September 16 and indicted on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution, all of which he “categorically denies”.
Eminem has sparked controversy with his song Fuel, which features a provocative lyric that some believe is a veiled jab at Diddy. The line in question goes: “I’m like a R-A-P-E-R, got so many S-As (huh). Wait, he didn’t just spell the word ‘rapper’ and leave out a P, did he?” Fans of the rapper speculate that the final words are intended to sound like the Bad Boy CEO’s name.
This isn’t the first time Eminem has seemingly targeted Diddy in his lyrics. In his 1996 song F—-ing Crazy, he raps: “Original bad boy on the case, cover your face, came in the place blowed and sprayed Puffy with mace.”
Additionally, his 2024 song Bad One features the lyrics: “F— it, it’s what I love to do, this is subterfuge, just to screw with you. And yeah, this much is true, this sounds like something that Puff would do at a party with Aaron Hall ’cause I just love to f— with you.”
