He is playing one of the most beloved cult comic book characters in the Marvel universe.
And Ryan Reynolds certainly seems like he wants to do the ridiculous character justice as he perfectly embodied the ‘Merc with a Mouth’ while filming the latest action scene in the highly-anticipated flick.
The 38-year-old actor brandished a prop handgun in each hand while atop a bridge on the Vancouver, Canada set of the Deadpool movie on Tuesday.

He even crossed his arms while holding the firearms as he pretended to shoot in a way that would only make sense in the movies.
Ryan definitely appeared to be filming a shootout scene as he leaned against and hid behind what looked like an overturned vehicle.
The Adventureland looked every bit the action man as he rocked the clinging red and black leather costume featuring plenty of leather holsters for his various weapons.

Deadpool is centred around a former Special Forces operative turned mercenary who is subjected to a rogue experiment that results in him having accelerated heeling problems.
Fans have been begging for a live-feature film of the beloved character as he was the natural choice having already had suited up as the ‘Regenerating Degenerate’ in 2009’s X:Men Origins: Wolverine opposite Hugh Jackman
Last November, Deadline finally announced Ryan was a go for the role then recently the actor unveiled the suit he would be sporting in the action flick.

A week and a half ago, he posted an image of Deadpool onto his Twitter page in full costume while showcasing the character’s proclivity for tomfoolery.
He was shown laid out in a seductive pose across a bear-skin rug in front of a fire as the image spoofed Burt Reynold’s infamous naked centerfold spread for Cosmopolitan in the Seventies.
Ryan posted the hilarious image with his 161K followers with the caption: ‘With great power, comes great irresponsibility. #deadpool #officialsuit @deadpoolmovie.’

The caption was yet another reference to pop culture as it was a play off of an iconic Spider-Man phrase as he wrote: ‘With great power, comes great irresponsibility.’
Back in December, the Buried actor had his own way of letting fans know the movie was actually happening as he tweeted a very telling photo.

‘Uh… It’s Chimichanga Time,’ the actor wrote as the caption to a Deadpool collage created by Seattle-based artist Mike Oncley. ‘Chimichanga’ has long been the mentally unstable Deadpool’s favourite word.
Deadpool is scheduled for a Febrary 12, 2016 release date and will be directed by Tim Miller with the script penned by Rhett Reese and Paul Werrick.
