Wheel of Fortune star Vanna White sets social media alight with surprise plan to get first tattoo at 67
Vanna White revealed on Tuesday’s episode of Wheel of Fortune that she’s considering getting her first ever tattoo.
The episode featured a contestant named Phil McManus from Palmer, Massachusetts, who revealed he had over 45 tattoos, including several Disney-themed tattoos, before he was involved in a rather unfortunate missolve.
Host Ryan Seacrest then revealed that the 67-year-old TV icon was actually considering getting some ink done herself, by her 27-year-old tattoo artist daughter Giovanna ‘Gigi’ Santo Pietro.
‘My daughter’s a tattoo artist, and she’s been trying to talk me into getting one. So I’m really considering doing it,’ she admitted, while mouthing ‘a small one’ to the camera.
Seacrest then asked fans to, ‘Hit us up on social. What tattoo should Vanna White get?’
While he joked the moment would, ‘go viral, no doubt,’ fans took Seacrest up on the offer, chiming in with a slew of tattoo ideas.

White has two children – Nicholas ‘Nikko’ Santo Pietro, 30, and Gigi from her marriage to George Santo Pietro from 1990 to 2022.
Gigi studied photography at New York University before turning to tattoos, working at the Lincoln Tattoo Company in Los Angeles.

White even revealed to People back in October 2023 that she was open to getting inked by Gigi.
‘You know what, I want to have matching hearts where she’ll do a little heart on me and she’ll do one on herself. I feel like I need to do that because it’s her and it would be her on me,’ White said last October.
The TV personality admitted she, ‘never dreamed’ that her daughter would go into tattoo artistry after getting an NYU education.
‘I said, “Gigi, why tattooing?” She goes, “Mom, my art is on someone’s body for the rest of their lives.” I was like, “That’s pretty cool,”‘ Vanna admitted.
‘You have to be so good and confident. You can’t mess up. So she absolutely loves it. She’s been doing that for the past three years and is doing a great job. I’m so, so proud of her,’ White added.
