Asher HaVon wasn’t the only winner last night on the Season 25 finale of The Voice! The two-part special offered special guest performances and surprises, ending the season with a bang.
Past coaches including Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani, and more returned for the finale. Celebrity guests including Kate Hudson, Jelly Roll, Thomas Rhett, and Lainey Wilson took the stage for special performances.
Lainey had special surprise in store during the finale, unbeknownst to her. She performed her brand new single “Hang Tight Honey,” from her upcoming album, Whirlwind. Her electric performance received rave reviews from fans, fellow country artists, and The Voice‘s panel of coaches.

After her performance, Lainey was in for the surprise of a lifetime from Queen Reba McEntire herself. “Lainey I am so proud you! You did a wonderful job and I have heard that I’ve inspired you and what you’ve done so far,” the “Fancy” singer gushed. “I am thrilled to death if I had anything to do with your career, because you’re blowing it up!”
“I was so proud of you at the ACMs the other night, and I couldn’t be more proud to be the one that help you continue to bridge the gap between our generations, keep them all going,” Reba continues. “I’d like to be the person to invite you to be an official member of the Grand Ole Opry!”
Lainey Wilson tearfully accepted the honor of becoming a member of The Grand Ole Opry, thanking Reba. “It’s so crazy that you’re asking me to be a member because I look up to you so much. I’m not talking about just musically, but the way you carry yourself and your work ethic. You inspire me everyday,” Lainey gushes.
