Bunnie XO won’t tolerate body-shaming, especially when it comes to her husband, Jelly Roll, and his daughter, 15-year-old Bailee Ann. The Dumb Blonde Podcast host recently used TikTok to shut down a troll who had made a “disgusting” comment, responding with a video earlier this month.
Bunnie XO Slams Body-Shaming Comments
“It’s absolutely insane to me how dense some people in the human population can be,” Bunnie XO began her response to the original comment, which read, “Why is her husband and stepdaughter family massively overweight? Weird podcast she’s enables them.”
The Dumb Blonde Podcast host continued by pointing out the fact that many excessively overweight people struggle with some kind of eating disorder. “People with anorexia, people with bulimia, that all goes in the same category, just different spectrums,” she explained. “You need to give people who have eating disorders, any type of eating disorders, the same grace that you would give a drug addict in your family.”
She added that she wasn’t encouraging people to enable those with eating disorders, but “they get enough hate in the world that the last person that they need hate from is so
mebody in their family.”
The Dumb Blonde Podcast Host Suggests But Doesn’t Force Healthier Habits
Bunnie XO shared that she never forces Jelly Roll to take part in a healthy habit, but simply tries to make suggestions that he may or may not choose to take part in.
“My husband knows that I try to show him with love, ‘Hey, let’s eat this,’ or ‘Hey, you wanna do this?’” she said. “I don’t try to force my husband to do anything because in return, that makes people resent you, and I don’t want that type of relationship with my husband. I want him to know that he is loved all sizes, no matter what.”
She continued by referencing Jelly Roll’s weight when they first began dating compared to his size now, noting that “I loved him then, his weight now, love him now,” she said. “I’m gonna love him in every phase of his life, and that doesn’t mean that I’m enabling him. So you guys need to throw that narrative out the window, it’s absolutely horrendous.”

Jelly Roll Fights His Demons Daily
Bunnie XO pointed out that, like many overweight people, Jelly Roll “knows what he has to do” and “fights his demons daily.”
“You don’t kick somebody when they’re down,” she said. “It’s just disgusting to me that you people think that you can just dictate how somebody lives their life.”
“I’m so tired of the narrative of people thinking that because my husband’s overweight, he eats bad,” she continued, revealing that Jelly Roll “eats healthier than 80% of the population.”

“He has bad genetics, he had an eating disorder when he was younger, there are so many factors and demons that play into his one, emotional eating, and his weight,” she said before directly addressing the troll. “He hears it enough from people like you online all day long. So for you to even come on my page and say something about my underage daughter’s body shows the type of human you are, and I just hope that you have the day that you deserve and the life that you deserve, because people like you don’t make it far in life.”
The “Halfway To Hell” Singer Previously Opened Up About His Weight
Jelly Roll previously opened up about his size in a 2018 Instagram post, revealing that he had put some weight back on that year due to the touring life of a musician.
“I’ve been obese since I was a small child,” he wrote. “All I’ve ever known was being fat, and I’m fucking miserable. I wanna skydive, bungee jump, ride a bull, parasail, ride roller coasters, I want to LIVE a normal life and have a normal relationship with food. I fight addictions and alcoholism every day.”
In 2023, the Grammy nominee put a renewed focus on fitness, and his nutritionist, Ian Larios, shared in a weight loss update in August that Jelly Roll had lost 23 pounds in about two weeks.
