Caitlin Clark has reportedly received an offer that would make her basketball’s first $5 million woman.

The Iowa star is chasing a national championship in what is to be her last season in college as she has announced her decision to enter the WNBA Draft. A Sweet 16 matchup with Colorado stands in her way for now; she will hope to advance when they clash this coming Saturday.

According to TMZ Sports, Ice Cube’s BIG3 has offered Clark a mammoth $5 million deal. The publication cites a source with direct knowledge who has disclosed that the 22-year-old would only need to play 10 games in exchange for said sum – eight in the regular season and two in the playoffs.

Clark also stands to earn “substantial additional compensation” through merchandising and sponsorship deals, but perhaps the best thing about the offer is she will still be able to play in the WNBA.

The Indiana Fever has the No. 1 pick in the draft and has already said in no uncertain terms that they’re going to select Caitlin Clark.

Caitlin Clark is the biggest thing in college hoops at the moment, having already made NCAA history by becoming its highest-ever scorer.

A move to the BIG3 would obviously make her its first female player. But there’s also an unprecedented financial incentive.

Erica Wheeler was the highest-paid player in the WNBA last year, making $242,000. While Clark is expected to make more from her WNBA deal, the offer from Cube would put her in uncharted realms.

The only caveat would be the NBA’s rivalry with the BIG3. The NBA also runs the women’s league and, based on the bad blood, could potentially block any active player from participating in BIG3 basketball.
