Kim Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend Ray J has spoken out about the scandal involving Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, after the reality star quietly unfollowed the rapper on social media

Kim Kardashian’s former flame has given an insight into what it was like to be a guest at one of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ notorious parties.

Diddy, who is currently awaiting trial in Brooklyn’s infamous Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC), was once famous for his star-studded events, where A-list celebrities would mingle amidst lavish settings.

However, Diddy’s parties have recently come under scrutiny for a very different reason, after the rapper was arrested last month in New York and subsequently charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, transportation, and engaging in prostitution. The 54 year old has strongly denied all charges and pleaded not guilty in court.

Allegations have surfaced that Diddy hosted secret “freak off” parties involving illegal drugs, hidden cameras, sex workers, and underage girls. According to grand jury indictment documents viewed by the Mirror, it is claimed that Diddy “hit, kicked, threw objects at, and dragged victims, at times, by their hair,” and subjected “victims to physical, emotional, and verbal abuse to coerce them into participating in Freak Offs’.”

During a heartfelt chat with Chris Cuomo on NewsNation’s CUOMO last month, Ray J, famously known as Kim’s ex and whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr, spilled the beans on his experiences at Diddy’s star-studded bashes. The R&B crooner, who romanced Kim between 2002 and 2006, claimed that he, along with “a lot of people in the industry,” were clueless about any serious accusations against Diddy.

Ray J divulged: “We’ve never seen the stuff that’s being said and the stuff that people are finding out, like, I’ve never been in rooms that people are talking about, and I never knew they existed. And a lot of people in the industry can agree with me on that sense. Like you all wanted to go and have a good time at a Diddy party.”

He added that attendees’ goals were simply to party and come away “inspired,” aiming to channel the energy into their work the next day. Despite rumors and discussions swirling around, Ray J emphasized that many are still wrapping their heads around the situation.

He acknowledged that while the allegations aren’t yet proven true, they’ve brought about feelings of betrayal and confusion for many. Prior to the police raids at Diddy’s luxurious estates earlier this year, Kim discreetly hit the unfollow button on the music tycoon’s profile, joining several celebrities in distancing themselves from him.

Kim and her sisters once reveled in the same elite social orbits as Diddy and have fond memories of letting loose at the lavish soirees he hosted.

Khloe Kardashian spilled the tea on a raucous bash from 2014 in an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, where she gossiped about a party so wild, attendees were supposedly stripping down to their birthday suits. Eager to share the details with her sister Kourtney, Khloe recounted how she mingled with stars like Diddy, Quincy Brown, Justin Bieber, and French Montana, saying: “I got on a plane at 5.30am. Well this party…I think half the people there were butt naked.”

Flash forward to December 2019, an Instagram snapshot shows Khloe, alongside Kylie and Kim Kardashian, all dolled up attending one of Diddy’s legendary gatherings, with the caption by Khloe reading: “Nothing like a Diddy party! ” On legal ground, speaking outside the courthouse on September 17, Diddy’s representation was firm, with his lawyer Marc Agnifilo stating confidently: “Mr Combs is a fighter, he’s going to fight this to the end. He’s innocent. He came to New York to establish his innocence. He’s not afraid, he’s not afraid of the charges.”

In response to prior accusations, Combs’ attorney criticized the frenzy, commenting that his client cannot be expected to parry every unfounded charge amid what they deem a “cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus.” He continues to vehemently deny all allegations against him.
