‘BONDING sis’: Selena Gomez spotted taking her half-sister, Gracie Teefey, shopping in Los Angeles, California on Black Friday breaking all rumor of COLD sister
On Black Friday, Selena Gomez took her half-sister Gracie Teefey shopping in Los Angeles, showcasing her cool big sister status. The 32-year-old pop star and her 11-year-old sister enjoyed browsing sales at stores like Urban Outfitters, Free People, and Sephora.
At one point, Selena was seen walking hand-in-hand with Gracie, enjoying the bustling shopping day. Despite dealing with a health issue called SIBO, Selena looked stylish in a black and white striped shirt, leather jacket, and linen pants. She accessorized with a black Prada shoulder bag, matching sunglasses, gold hoop earrings, and her dark brown hair styled in a sleek low bun.
Gracie, the daughter of Rare Beauty founder Mandy Teefey, wore a David Bowie t-shirt under a gray sweatshirt paired with light-wash jeans.
Selena has often spoken about her close bond with Gracie, emphasizing how her sister helps her maintain a positive perspective on life. “Hanging out with Gracie is my favorite way to spend a mental health day,” she shared. “She’s very pure and innocent, and her advice is surprisingly wise for a 10-year-old.”
Recently, Selena expressed her joy in being a big sister, stating, “I knew I had to be stronger than what others said. My sister handles things so well, and I strive to be strong and open around her. I want to create a better world for her.”
I think she’s very pure and innocent. She helps me see things in a bigger picture. It’s funny that I love her advice even though I’m 31 years old and she’s only 10. The actress told her mental health group Wondermind last year, “She is very wise.”
Gomez told The Hollywood Reporter earlier this month that becoming a big sister made her happy.
She said, “I knew I had to be a lot stronger than giving in to other people’s talk.” “My sister is 11 years old now and handles things so well.” Of course it’s because of my parents, but I’ve also always tried to be strong around her and open with her.
“I really do want to make this a better world for her,” Gomez said next.
She said, “We go to Target, we’ll go bowling, we’ll go places, and we don’t really get bothered.” This makes me wonder if Teefey knows how famous she is. She’s used to it if we do.
