Gwen Stefani has gotten pretty good at living life in the country. Perhaps she’s even better at it than her fiancé, country star Blake Shelton!

In a recent segment that aired as part of NBC’s Season 19 The Voice finale, Stefani, 51, can be seen flaunting her country-girl side, as Shelton, 44, looks on with surprise.

The hilarious clip shows Stefani all decked out in western apparel and spending time outdoors. She starts by restoring a horseshoe with a sledgehammer in hopes to fix her horse’s foot. Next, she assists Shelton in repairing his truck by bumping the side of his vehicle with her hip. While fishing, Stefani reels in a fish that’s much bigger than the one on Shelton’s hook. Lastly, Stefani shows Shelton her impressive wood crafting skills by using a nail file to carve an Owl out of wood.

“Being with Blake and doing country music has just really changed my life, and I feel like it has brought us closer together….” Stefani says of her and Shelton’s romance in the video, “I think what I love most about the country is the lifestyle. You know, it’s outdoors-y, and it’s really fun!”

“I honestly think that I was born for this kind of living,” she adds before Shelton decides to break from his rural ways after seeing how quickly his wife-to-be has become attuned to his lifestyle.

Even though Stefani has made it clear that she’s embracing her man’s country upbringing, she hasn’t completely abandoned her city roots. She made sure to add a bit of her rocker edge into the mix by giving her horse a colorful blowout complete with flowers.

Shelton and Stefani got engaged in October 2020 at Shelton’s ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. They first met while working on the set of The Voice back in 2015 following their respective divorces from Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert.

And, as it turns out, Stefani may be on a current winning streak with Shelton. Her mentee, Team Stefani’s Carter Rubin, has been crowned the winner of Season 19’s The Voice. Carter’s win marks Stefani’s first victory as a coach since joining the show back in 2014.
