EXCLUSIVE: A former model on The Price Is Right has recalled navigating her pregnancy on the show, praising Drew Carry for supporting her.

Former The Price Is Right model Gwendolyn Osborne has praised host Drew Carey for his support while she was pregnant, saying they “changed the history of television.”

Osborne, a model on the show from 2005 to 2017, recalled Drew Carey’s encouragement and support while she was pregnant with her now 16-year-old son Malloy.

“Drew Carey and I changed the history of television,” Osborne told the Daily Express exclusively at the Bodywell and Mend’s 2025 Critics Choice and Grammy Fire Relief Lounge Presented By GBK Brand Bar.

“His immediate support of showing my pregnancy on air, bringing my son Malloy back on the show as I came back to work, proved that mothers can be celebrated while supported to come back to work on TV.”

Osborne, who spent over a decade as one of the show’s models, said Carey’s constant encouragement allowed her to break barriers.

“The fact that I was pregnant as a mother and wanted to show my pregnancy as a model—and that I could be strong enough to come back and still work as a mother on television—was so important,” she said.

Osborne recalled the joy that came with being a part of The Price Is Right, calling her former colleagues “family.”

She hinted at past behind-the-scenes drama but emphasized that the show’s energy and positivity were the main perks of working on the show.

“There were plenty of drama moments behind the scenes—time crunches, fights with other models,” she said.

“I mean, you know, there might be a book one day, you never know. But more than anything, it’s about the dancing, the joy, and knowing that just coming on air, smiling, and having a personality can make someone’s day.”

Now an actress, Osborne currently stars as Dr. Michaela Cabrera, a Jamaican therapist, on the BET+ drama All the Queen’s Men.

The Price Is Right is currently on season 53, and airs on CBS weekdays from 11 AM–12 PM ET.
