Joshua hoped to make history at Wembley stadium on Saturday night by becoming just the fourth man to be a three-time heavyweight boxing champion, as he faced IBF heavyweight title holder Dubois.

However, it was not to be as the 27-year-old dominated the former champion throughout the fight, ultimately knocking him out in the fifth round.

And now, some fans have come up with a theory that could explain the shock result after noticing a strange moment in some pre-fight footage.

As Joshua walked out to the ring to meet the champion, some fans noticed that the 34-year-old stumbles and appears off balance as he emerges from the tunnel.

Sharing a clip of the moment on social media platform X, one fan wrote: “AJ stumbles before he even enters the ring. Something was not right with him.”

Another fan reacting to the clip added: “No conspiracy theory. Just look at him – he is walking so weird.

“He’s been off his best for years. He probably shouldn’t be boxing at all, to be honest.”

While one fan believed it showed that Joshua was afraid of what may happen in the fight, writing: “You can tell by his face he was scared and worried, I noticed that the commentators said he was relaxed but he always looked scared.”

And another agreed, suggesting that this may be a sign that the former champion should now retire from the sport, writing: “I thought I was the only one that noticed. And he looked stressed out. He never felt calm or relaxed. I guess he came out doubting himself and some sought of fear in his mind. But overall, I think its time for him to retire. He is a champion no matter what.”

After knocking Joshua down in the closing moments of the first round, Dubois continued to control the fight, knocking the former champion down another two times before finishing the fight in the fifth round after AJ failed to make the count following a huge right hand landed by Dubois.
