Kourtney Kardashian’s Lemme Supplement Brand Faces Class Action Lawsuit Over Deceptive Advertising

Kourtney Kardashian Barker’s supplement brand, Lemme, is facing scrutiny following allegations of deceptive advertising. Zimmerman Reed, a class action litigation firm, has launched an investigation into Lemme’s marketing practices, particularly focusing on several of its products.

The firm is examining claims that Lemme, which launched in September 2022, has misled consumers through its advertising. The specific products under investigation include:

Lemme Purr Gummies: Marketed to boost vaginal health and support vaginal odor.
Lemme Curb Capsules: Advertised to support healthy blood sugar levels.

Lemme Debloat Gummies: Promoted as a remedy for bloating.
Lemme Matcha Gummies: Claimed to enhance cellular energy and metabolism.

Zimmerman Reed is seeking feedback from customers who purchased these products to determine if they expected the items to perform as advertised. Their free case review form invites those who may have been misled to seek potential compensation.

Controversies and Expert Opinions

Lemme has faced criticism from health professionals since its debut. The brand’s introduction of Lemme Purr, a vaginal probiotic gummy, in February 2023, sparked controversy. The product claims to support vaginal microbiome health and pH levels with probiotics and pineapple extract.

Dr. Melanie Bone, an OBGYN and member of Daye’s medical board, expressed skepticism about such products. She pointed out that the vagina is self-cleaning and cautioned against products that may exploit women’s insecurities about their health. According to Dr. Bone, while probiotics can benefit vaginal health, the additional ingredients in Lemme Purr, like pineapple extract, lack clinical validation for altering vaginal health.

Additionally, concerns have been raised about other Lemme products:

Lemme Debloat Gummies: The product contains three grams of sugar per serving, which may contribute to bloating, contrary to its claims.
Lemme Matcha Gummies: Contain only 100 mg of matcha per serving, which is significantly less than the amounts typically needed to see energy-boosting effects. For comparison, a teaspoon of matcha contains about 2,000 mg, far exceeding the amount in Lemme’s product.

Next Steps

The investigation by Zimmerman Reed aims to address these concerns and evaluate whether Lemme’s marketing has been misleading. Customers who feel they were misled are encouraged to participate in the case review for potential compensation.

Kourtney Kardashian Barker’s Lemme brand, while popular, now faces significant questions about the efficacy and transparency of its advertised claims.
