17-Year-Old Twins Storm “The Voice” Stage and Leave the Judges Stunned, Snagging a Chair Turn In Less Than 10 Seconds! The Crowd Goes Wild, and the Coaches Can’t Believe Their Ears

When auditioning for The Voice, imagine how nerve-wracking it is to wait for a coach to turn their chair around. Sometimes, it can take a moment for them to decide if they want a singer on their team. But that wasn’t the case for the Garcia twins — they convinced Chance the Rapper, a new coach to The Voice, to turn around in a matter of seconds!

Justin and Jeremy are only 17 years old, but they’ve already become experts at harmonizing beautifully together. For their audition, they chose a song to highlight this skill: Story of My Life by One Direction. It’s too bad that Niall Horan isn’t a coach this season — this is the band he was in as a teen himself!

In any case, there’s no doubt that Justin and Jeremy did the iconic song justice — and I say this as a long-time One Direction fan myself. The other coaches agreed with Dan + Shay and Reba also turning their chairs for the duo.

The Garcia Twins Light Up The Voice Stage With Beautiful Harmonies

The Garcia twins sing on "The Voice" stage with one of them standing and the other playing the piano.
“You’ve got the duo thing down,” Shay Mooney of Dan + Shay shares with them. “Man, that was a fantastic performance. From the first time I heard you harmonizing and I found out it was two people, I was like, ‘We’ve got to turn around. That sounds amazing.’”

After a bit of playful banter between the coaches vying to have the Garcia twins on their team, the brothers ultimately went with who you might expect them to choose… fellow duo Dan + Shay! Together, these two duos are sure to create magical performances!
