“The fall for Tetairoa McMillan stops here, and the Arizona Cardinals keep the Arizona product in state. Do the Cardinals truly need McMillan? Not really, but you can’t ignore the insane value and the upside of pairing McMillan and Marvin Harrison Jr. together. Good luck defending that.”

Arizona’s Tetairoa McMillan has elite size at the WR position, standing at 6’5″, and knows how to use it to his advantage in contested catch situations. He makes 50-50 balls feel more like 70-30 and would form an intriguing duo with Harrison Jr. Due to a few other rookie WRs having better rookie seasons, it seems like the public has a negative opinion of the Cardinals’ rookie season. Giving him a partner like McMillan that can take some of the pressure off his plate and force the defense to give both respected attention on any given pass play.
There would be some concern as they would have two big-body WRs that may sometimes do a lot of the same things. But honestly, this would open things up for Harrison to work more in the middle of the field and be able to use his run after catch ability at a higher rate. Something he excelled at during his time at Ohio State. Give Kyler Murray this type of WR duo in 2025, and I think the Cardinals’ passing game would take a huge step forward. This would only make it harder for defenses to sell out against the run, which should open up more opportunities for Murray to hurt defenses with his legs.
