Back in 2017, Alan Jackson was officially inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, alongside the late Jerry Reed and songwriter Don Schlitz.

To celebrate Alan’s big night and milestone achievement, many country artists showed up to pay tribute to the Chattahoochee singer, with the iconic Loretta Lynn making a surprise appearance to induct Alan after she suffered a stroke just five months prior.

“Everybody’s been telling me for years, ‘You’ll be in the Hall of Fame,’ I don’t care what you do, you don’t ever feel like you’re worthy enough. … I didn’t know what to say. I just kind of stumbled around and said, ‘Man, that’s so cool.’”

During the ceremony, Lee Ann Womack gave a performance of Alan’s first Top 10 hit, “Here in the Real World,” while Alison Krauss took the stage to sing “Someday,” but probably the best performance of the night, however, was when George Strait performed the Georgia native’s 4x platinum hit, “Remember When.
