Snoop Dogg opened up about a moment of deep connection with Michael Bublé that left the legendary rapper “almost in tears.” The encounter occurred backstage at a charity gala earlier this year, where the two stars bonded over an intimate and heartfelt conversation about family. One of Bublé’s kids can’t get enough of one of Snoop’s songs. In a world of fame and music, moments like these remind us that even the biggest stars are human, bonded by the universal experiences of love and family. As Snoop put it, “At the end of the day, we’re all just parents trying to give our kids the best life we can. Michael’s story is a reminder of how precious that is.”

Snoop Dogg has a soft spot for the daughter of fellow “Voice” coach Michael Bublé.

The 6-year-old daughter of the “Haven’t Met You Yet” crooner, Vida, listens to Snoop’s “Affirmations Song” every day, a fact that gives the beloved rapper all the feels.

“Man, that made me almost cry because I made those records for my grandkids and for the kids around the world to have a piece of me that was rated G,” Snoop said Oct. 22 on “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”

“We started making these records to start doing these visuals and start creating these characters and these live-action characters. And it just spread. It’s people playing it for kids in elementary schools all around the world.”

The “Gin and Juice” rapper, who became an Olympic icon for his support of the U.S. at the 2024 Summer Games in Paris, said he couldn’t even believe it when Bublé told him how much his daughter likes him and that his music resonates with children.

“And Michael Bublé came to set, and he was like, ‘Man, my daughter loves your music, and they listen to it every day,’” he said.

“I’m like, ‘You’re lying.’ And we actually, we sung it together. And it just touched me. It was so adorable that this music that I’m making is really reaching the kids for the right reasons.”

Bublé, who shares four kids with wife Luisana Lopilato, himself has said his daughter loves Snoop and that her kindergarten teacher plays “The Affirmations Song” each morning, noting that she made a video for the rapper that her dad showed him the first time they met.

“He was so cute. It really moved him. He’s a beautiful soul. He’s a beautiful soul,” Bublé said last month on “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”

“And he said to me, he goes, ‘Mike, Mike.’ He said, ‘You’re telling me in Vancouver that those kindergartners listen to Uncle Snoop every day?’ And I said, ‘Yeah.’ And he was so cute. He said, ‘Oh, you know I made that for my grandkids and it was so important to reach in a positive way.’ What a sweetie pie.”

Bublé said his daughter has even gotten to meet Snoop and the relationship has continued.

“Sometimes he’ll call, and, literally, it’s not to talk to me. It’s like, ‘Uncle Snoop’s calling to say hi to the kids.’”
