500lb rapper Dave Blunts slams Snoop Dogg as fans express concern for health in viral performance
Dave Blunts gave a performance that left fans with anxiety after they noticed his deteriorating health onstage at a concert to honor Juice WRLD.
After a concerning video clip from a special event went viral, fans flagged their worries over Dave Blunts’ performance.
Mainly, they noted the rapper’s evident health issues as he gave a seated performance and required an oxygen tank at his side. David joined his peers in Chicago for the 4th Annual JUICE WRLD DAY in memory of the late rapper Juice WRLD. Acknowledging the obvious, David told the crowd: “I got demons, and a tank to prove it. Don’t come for me when you have been blessed enough to be here that long; respect the struggle.”
Nonetheless, David’s appearance brought speculation from the internet who sent him well-wishes and put pressure on those around him to intervene in his lifestyle. The star is, ironically, known from his song Hospital Bed and notable for his approximately 500lb weight.
“People around him need to tell him the truth, this is not a flex,” a fan wrote. Another pushed the blame onto Dave’s management, writing: “It’s crazy how he got to this size with his team just watching.”

Dave threw some shade at Snoop Dogg who presumably said something about his health conditions. “Chicago! Do y’all have a problem with me sitting down on this stage?” Blunts asked the crowd who reacted affirmatively. “Exactly – so, get the f— off my d—, Snoop Dogg. I see the big dog talking. Snoop, you think you funny? You don’t know what it’s like to fight for your life every damn day.”
Some people speculated on Dave’s health condition, wondering what caused his immense weight gain. One discussed the difficulties of food addiction, wondering if that may be the struggle Dave is going through. They wrote: “This young man is missing out on so much in life. Food addiction is real. Sugar is the main culprit.”
As for the performance itself, fans were critical, especially given the context of the show. “I couldn’t enjoy myself at the show. The idea of having fun while digesting the personal Issues he must [suffer] from internally would just be too much,” wrote one fan. Another voiced their anger over his song choice, writing, “Performing bout taking drugs at a concert that carries the legacy of someone who died from a drug overdose. Maybe I’m lost.”
