Reba McEntire & Snoop Dogg Reunite on NBC NYE Special
Reba McEntire and Snoop Dogg having surprisingly great chemistry wasn’t on my bingo card for 2024. They’re both equally lovable in completely separate, distinct ways. Watching their personalities meld with one another has been a treat to watch on The Voice.
Unfortunately, with season 26 wrapped up, we won’t get to see the duo’s chemistry anymore. Thankfully though, they’re uniting one more time to usher in the New Year.
Deadline reports a massive, star studded lineup for Hoda Kotb & Jenna Bush Hager’s NBC NYE Special. The two-hour primetime special A Toast to 2024!, airs on December 31 at 9 pm ET/8 pm CT. Obviously, they’re highlighting the network’s stars.
Consequently, two of their big names include The Voice coaches Reba McEntire and Snoop Dogg. Similarly, Reba also represents her new sitcom Happy’s Place. For Snoop, he’s also done more than just the reality singing competition. He was also a correspondent for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Other names in addition to Reba and Snoop come as follows:
George Lopez
David Alan Grier
Adam Lambert
Loni Love
Howie Mandel
Melissa Peterman
Joel McHale
Al Roker
Rickey Smiley
Martha Stewart
Mike Tirico
At this point, Reba is essentially the face of NBC programming. Despite transitioning out of her time with The Voice, she’s still prominently featured on NBC with her sitcom Happy’s Place. It’s a huge hit on streaming and on cable alike during an era where it’s hard to reel in fans to watch live television. Fans on social media are incredibly vocal in their support for McEntire too. “Reba came CORRECT in that little monologue. She thrives in the sitcom world. She has an honesty that translates so well,” one person said upon the show’s debut episode.
