Wheel of Fortune will give Ryan Seacrest $50 million year wage on one condition
Just months into replacing Pat Sajak on Wheel of Fortune, Ryan Seacrest has been giving an ultimatum: drop ‘other full-time gigs’ or lose $50 million salary.

Considering the increase in viewership, his contract is being negotiated.
“That success is going to translate into a longer-term deal than his current two-year contract and we’re talking BIG,” they revealed. “Ryan could be the first game show host to make $50million a year!”
His potential salary is almost double his current one that stands at $28 million a year. Sajak never made more than a $15 million salary on the show.
The insider confessed: “The only way a $50million payday is possible is if Ryan scales back his other full-time gigs and makes a more exclusive commitment to the franchise.”
Along with other projects, Seacrest also acts as a host on American Idol and his radio show On Air with Ryan Seacrest. His work elsewhere takes away from his presence off camera at Wheel of Fortune, which Sajak was very much involved in.
“Pat was more a part of the fabric of the show behind the scenes than Ryan had the schedule or availability for. Pat would even sit in on contestant auditions and meet with advertisers because the show became his life,” they explained.
It is best for the network to work fast on the new contract.
The source admitted: “Of course, it’s in Sony’s interest to do this sooner rather than later because Ryan will only have more leverage if he keeps breaking ratings records!”
