Jean Silva Fires Back at Bryce Mitchell Over “Demonic Curses” Accusation Ahead of UFC 314! 🔥

The featherweight rivalry between UFC 314 adversaries Bryce Mitchell and Jean Silva has taken an odd turn.

Things are ramping up between featherweights Jean Silva and Bryce Mitchell ahead of their UFC 314 grudge match.

Just days after Silva defeated Melsik Baghdasaryan at UFC Seattle, he got his wish granted to face Mitchell at UFC 314 on April 12th. It didn’t take long for Mitchell to accept Silva’s callout on social media, as he called the matchmakers immediately to make the fight come to fruition.

Mitchell, who has been at the center of controversy to begin 2025, didn’t get a warm reception at a recent UFC 314 press conference. Fans booed and mocked Mitchell at the press conference, and Silva brought a globe, mocking Mitchell’s flat-earth stance.

But Mitchell took things a few steps further after a heated faceoff at their first pre-fight press conference ahead of UFC 314. In a Monday Instagram post, Mitchell shared to his followers that he hasn’t slept well since facing off with Silva, and accused the Brazilian star of cursing him with demons.

Mitchell’s accusations quickly spread all over social media, and it didn’t take long for Silva to address them.

In a recent post to X, Silva responded to Mitchell’s bizarre accusations.

“Bryce, two things, these are not demons, it’s just you being afraid to face me and second about the beautiful women you have a hormone called testosterone and you probably have problems with it,” Silva posted.

“Just be ready for April 12th, because I will be.”

Silva’s testosterone reference is correlated to Mitchell’s claims that he’s felt lust since their press conference faceoff.

Jean Silva’s press conference barks led Bryce Mitchell to believe he’s a demon

During the press conference, Silva barked and promoted hostile crowd taunts towards Mitchell, adding to the bad blood between the two featherweights. This is the first time in Mitchell’s UFC tenure that he won’t be on the fan-favorite side of a fight.

Mitchell returns to the cage looking to build off of wins in two of his last three fights, including a most recent victory over Kron Gracie at UFC 310. He bounced back from a brutal knockout loss to Josh Emmett at UFC 296.

Silva, a Dana White’s Contender Series standout, is unbeaten in his UFC tenure with recent knockout wins over Drew Dober and Charles Jourdain. He defeated UFC Vegas 104 star Kevin Vallejos in his DWCS showcase bout earned him a UFC contract.

Mitchell vs. Silva is part of a stacked main card at UFC 314. While their pre-fight trash talk has taken a bizarre turn, expect fireworks come April 12th.
