Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs is being detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center as he awaits trial for charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, which he has denied

Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs joked about his infamous parties being shut down by cops and predicted it would end up with him being arrested in a resurfaced video.

The 54-year-old rapper is awaiting trial in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center after he was arrested on charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Combs has denied all charges against him and pled not guilty in court.

Diddy was arrested following raids on his homes, during which federal agents confiscated items used in Diddy’s “freak off” parties. The disgraced musician was seen bragging about his wild parties in a clip from 1999.
In the video, Diddy warned: “They’re going to be shutting them down. They’re going to probably be arresting me, doing all types of crazy things just because we want to have a good time.”

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the time, he added: “They won’t even give me a permit for the parties. And they don’t want me to throw the parties no more.

“But we ain’t going to stop. We gonna keep on having fun. Bringing people together from all walks of life.” Diddy then namedropped celebrities such as Jay-Z and Ron Perlman as he spoke about who attended the events.

When asked how he felt about “people dying to get into [his] parties,” Diddy replied: “I mean it’s cool. It doesn’t make me feel anyway special; it doesn’t make me feel like a bigger person. It just makes me feel like I know how to throw a party.”

Diddy was arrested following raids on his home linked to a probe into his alleged sex trafficking empire. The raid uncovered items used in Diddy’s “freak off” parties, including 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant.

Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo responded to the baby oil findings. Speaking to The New York Post, he said: “I don’t think it was 1,000. I think it was a lot.

“I mean, there is a Costco right down the street. I think Americans buy in bulk, as we know. And you know these are consensual adults doing what consensual adults do, you know, we can’t get so puritanical in this country to think that somehow sex is a bad thing because if it was there would be no more people.”

As Diddy awaits federal trial, he is also facing the possibility of new civil lawsuits. Attorney Tony Buzbee said 120 people are planning to sue Diddy, alleging the rapper exploited them and sexually abused them.

Diddy has denied the new allegations against him. His attorney, Erica Wolff, said in a statement: “As Mr Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus. That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.”

She continued: “He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”
