Deadpool and Wolverine is now available to buy on digital platforms but some fans are confused about when the box office hit will come to Disney+ or other streaming services

Fans are demanding that Marvel release Deadpool and Wolverine on Disney+ now after the latest promotional stunt featuring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman was shared online.

The box office hit has now been released on digital platforms however that does not mean it is available to stream as part of any subscriptions just yet.

It is available to purchase via services such as Amazon Prime video, iTunes, Microsoft Store and digital storefronts and includes a host of extra content for fans.

Some of those extras include deleted scenes but it also includes some short skits involving the film’s stars.

In one clip of a promotional stunt shared on social media of the extra titled ‘Wade is back’, Reynolds and Jackman address the camera saying they are pleased to be promoting a film.

Reynolds indulges in creating the Disney logo in the manner that was known for viewers of the Disney Channel, which utilised stars such as Selena Gomez making the same gesture in between shows.

The Wrexham co-owner then says the film they are promoting is one he poured his blood, sweat and tears into and his character is named Wade.

However, he then says the film is the Disney original movie from 1998, Tourist Trap, leaving Jackman to storm off set.

Jackman then returns to paint a Green Lantern mask on his co-star, once again poking fun at the actor’s previous attempt at a DC superhero which was not as much of a commercial hit as Deadpool.

However, fans are hoping to have Deadpool and Wolverine added to the rest of the MCU on Disney+.

One fan said: “Time to drop Deadpool and Wolverine on Disney+.”

Another was just as impatient posting: “Deadpool and Wolverine should be on disney plus already”

For now, fans will have to wait for the Disney+ to announce when the film will be added to the platform, although some have speculated it could be within a month or two basing it on Inside Out 2’s schedule from digital to streaming.
