‘If it’s f**k, I’ve done something wrong’: Ryan Reynolds is concerned he and Blake Lively’s daughter James’ first word will be an expletive

Ryan Reynolds has admitted that he is worried his daughter’s first word will be ‘f**k’.

The 38-year-old actor revealed that his little girl James, seven months, spent a lot of time on the set of his new movie, Deadpool, and he hopes the bad language used in the film won’t have had an influence on the tot.

He said: ‘She’s going to learn those words eventually anyway. If her first word is f**k, then I’ve done something wrong, but otherwise I think we’re fine. I think we’re OK.’

He added: ‘The second or third [word], that’s fine. But the first? No. It’s going to have to be mom or dad. I’m rooting for mom.’

Ryan – who is married to James’ mother, Blake Lively – was at Comic-Con in San Diego at the weekend and was very impressed with the lengths people went to in order to imitate his superhero alter ego.

He told E! News: ‘I’ve probably seen about 400 [Deadpools] at this point.I saw a couple that were awesome, that were really amazing. One guy [had] contact lenses underneath, really elaborate stuff.

‘I took a picture with about eight of them that I saw just outside a little while ago…It was cool to see that. It was cool to see that level of passion and determination to make a perfect Deadpool.’

“They’re so beautiful and so nice. It kind of gives you a little hope in the world.”

During the panel, Sophie was able to be part of what is already being called the greatest superhero selfie of all time.

The image was taken by Stan Lee and Chris Hardwick and saw the likes of Jennifer Lawrence, Hugh Jackman, Channing Tatum and the entire cast of Fantastic Four posing in the snap.

Chris captioned the snap saying: ‘I mean this HAS to be some kind of damn record. Most superheroes on one selfie? Casts of Wolverine, X-Men, Deadpool and Fantastic Four PLUS the Generalissimo!!! @20thCenturyFoxPanel #sdcc2015 #HallH #sdccDiarywick.’
