A post from Ellen DeGeneres resurfaced referring to Sean “Diddy” Combs as “Cuddle McSnugglestuff”. Ellen would have Diddy appear on her former talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show
A post from Ellen DeGeneres resurfaced and it made people cringe.
The comedian and former Ellen DeGeneres Show host wished Sean “Diddy” Combs a happy birthday on X, formerly known as Twitter, on November 4, 2016. She referred to the hip hop mogul as “Cuddle McSnugglestuff.” The post read: “Happy birthday, P Diddy, Puff Daddy, Sean Combs, or as I call him, Cuddle McSnugglestuff. You don’t need to know why. @iamdiddy.”
This comes after Diddy was arrested on Monday, September 16 and charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. An unsealed indictment accused Diddy of running an “enterprise that he engaged in sex trafficking, forced labor or, kidnapping, arson and other crimes.” Diddy has pleaded not guilty and vehemently denied all wrongdoing.
Users thought it was weird how the comedian was on a nickname basis with the hip hop mogul. Others read between the lines.
One person wrote: “‘Cuddle McSnugglestuff. You don’t need to know why.’ Ellen should’ve been under the jail.” Another person wrote: “.. ohhh she fcking knew. ‘… You don’t need to know why….’.” A third person wrote: “Do you know how sick you gotta be to be on a nickname basis with Diddy??!?!?'” A fourth user wrote: “‘Cuddle McSnugglestuff’ Diddy even got Ellen.”
The hip hop mogul was placed in the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn and has to stay at the facility until his trial after being denied bail twice.
Diddy would appear on the Ellen DeGeneres Show throughout the years. The show aired from 2003–2022. In a resurfaced video from 2018, the hip hop mogul was seen sitting across from the comedian on her talk show and s poked fun at Diddy for being late to her show. She asked if he would do something like that at an upcoming party she was throwing around that time.
She also added: “But not too late. ‘Cause, you know, once you get there the party really starts.”
Diddy was known to throw pretty big parties and some would call them “freak offs.” Since his arrest, pictures and videos surfaced of other celebrities who were seen partying with Diddy.
