50 Cent says he has been speaking out against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs for years and has defended himself for doing so.

Diddy is currently behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn, awaiting trial.

The 54-year-old pleaded not guilty on 17 September after being accused of using his ‘power and prestige’ to drug sex workers during his alleged ‘Freak Off’ parties.

120 accusers have come forward with a number of sexual misconduct allegations against him and at least six lawsuits were filed in federal court in Manhattan last Monday (14 October).

The lawsuits accused Combs of raping women, sexually assaulting men and molesting a 16-year-old boy. The music mogul has denied all of the allegations.

In an interview with People, 50 spoke on Diddy’s recent legal troubles, saying: “Look, it seems like I’m doing some extremely outrageous things, but I haven’t.

“It’s really me just saying what I’ve been saying for 10 years.

“Now it’s becoming more full-facing in the news with the Puffy stuff, but away from that, I’m like, ‘Yo, it’s just my perspective because I stayed away from that stuff the entire time, because this is not my style.’ “

The 49-year-old has announced he’s making a documentary about the accusations made against Diddy.

In a statement to the outlet, 50 Cent (for G-Unit Film & Television) and director Alexandria Stapleton (for House of Nonfiction) said: “This is a story with significant human impact.

“It is a complex narrative spanning decades, not just the headlines or clips seen so far.

“We remain steadfast in our commitment to give a voice to the voiceless and to present authentic and nuanced perspectives.

“While the allegations are disturbing, we urge all to remember that Sean Combs’s story is not the full story of hip hop and its culture.

“We aim to ensure that individual actions do not overshadow the culture’s broader contributions.”

A lawyer for Diddy previously denied all allegations in a statement issued to LADbible Group, which reads: “As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasised, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus.

“That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.

“He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”

LADbible Group has contacted representatives of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs for additional comment.
