If this doesn’t leave you in tears, are you even human?

American Idol is in its 15th and final season. And even if you switched allegiances to The Voice over the past decade and a half, or just plain forgot the show existed, you cannot forget OG winner Kelly Clarkson. Because she is a treasure.

At the time she is on this episode of Idol, seven months pregnant and belting out “Piece by Piece,” the emotional song she wrote about family and fatherhood.

Clarkson breaks down in tears several times throughout the song. Tears stream down judge Keith Urban’s face and Jennifer Lopez’s eyes are glassy as hell.

When Clarkson finally finishes she brushes off the tears. “Sorry,” she says. “I’m super pregnant and hormonal…it’s nostalgic and I can’t believe it’s the last season, and yeah, really sorry I just bawled.”
