Teddi Mellencamp got a boost on Monday after her estranged husband brought along their daughters to visit her in the hospital as she recovers from a grueling brain surgery.

Edwin Arroyave, 47, posted a photo to his Instagram Stories revealing that he was bringing their daughter Slate, 12, as well as his daughter Bella, 15, from his previous relationship with Christina Mecklenburg.

‘On our way to visit Mom,’ Edwin captioned the cute photo while tagging his daughters.

He wrapped an arm around Slate, while Bella sweetly rested her chin on his shoulder.

Edwin, who split from Teddi in November, also shared an update on Instagram thanking Teddi’s fans for their thoughts and prayers after she went under the knife to remove multiple brain tumors.

‘Our family is thankful to everybody for your continued prayers and well wishes,’ he wrote in the all-text post. ‘Teddi is beyond grateful for the outpouring of love while she continues to recover.’

He added a simple ‘Thank you’ in his caption, along with praying hands and a heart emoji.

While Teddi recovered in the hospital, Edwin appeared to be taking care of all the parenting duties.

He shared another photos of his children to his Insta Stories on Monday featuring the rest of their brood who had apparently sat out the hospital visit.

Edwin, who sported a short white beared, displayed a soft smile as he posed next to his oldest child Bella, as well as his youngest children with Teddi: four-year-old daughter Dove and 10-year-old son Cruz.

Despite their mother’s frightening ordeal, they looked happy displayed sweet, relaxed smiles.

‘Dinner with the fam tonight,’ Edwin wrote of the trip to El Mariachi Grill in Encino.

Earlier, Teddi’s sister shared her own update on the reality star’s condition after being by her side.

Teddi’s sister Justice opened up about the pain of watching a loved one suffer as she updated fans on her sibling following her recent brain tumor operation earlier on Monday

The photo appeared to be taken after Teddi underwent surgery to have tumors removed from her brain last week. 

The image included an emotional message from Justice, where she called her sister the ‘strongest person’ she knew, while acknowledging the pain she was in.

‘Watching a loved one suffer is horrific,’ she wrote. ‘I’ve tried to get back to everyone who has reached out & I know Teddi will share her journey when she is ready. She is by far the strongest person I know.

‘So many emotions as I travel home today but her village is the best one I’ve ever seen and I’m so grateful for them (prayer hands emoji). Your prayers are everything. Thank you.’

Justice and Teddi are the daughters of John Mellencamp and his ex-wife Victoria Granucci. The legendary heartland singer has five children from three different relationships.

Last week, Teddi revealed she would be undergoing an emergency surgery to remove tumors on her brain after recently discovering them.

In a statement posted to her Instagram, Teddi revealed the tumors were discovered following ‘several weeks’ of ‘severe and debilitating headaches.’

The Bravo alum revealed she would be having two tumors removed that day, with the remaining ‘smaller tumors’ to be ‘dealt with via radiation at a later date.’

Last week Teddi revealed she would be undergoing an emergency surgery to remove tumors on her brain after recently discovering them

Her brain tumors were discovered just three years after Teddi announced that she was diagnosed with stage II melanoma, the most dangerous form of skin cancer. She has undergone a total of sixteen procedures so far to remove the melanomas.

While it’s unclear what type of tumor has been discovered in her brain, skin cancer can spread to the brain and cause brain tumors, known as brain metastasis.

‘For the last several weeks I’ve been dealing with severe and debilitating headaches. Yesterday the pain was unbearable and required hospitalization,’ Teddi said in her statement.

‘After a CT scan and MRI, doctors found multiple tumors on my brain, which they believed have been growing for at least 6 months.

‘Two of the tumors will be surgically removed today – the remaining smaller tumors will be dealt with via radiation at a later date,’ she continued.

‘I am blessed to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses, and surgeons who are doing everything possible to get me back into better health.

‘Thank you everybody who has reached out, and to everyone who has supported me along this journey.’

Last week, Edwin updated fans on Teddi’s condition following her surgery, assuring everyone the operation ‘went well,’ but adding he had never seen her in ‘so much pain.’

Edwin, 47, and Teddi are currently in the process of divorcing after 13 years of marriage and three children. Teddi is also the stepmom of Edwin’s daughter Bella.

Despite their separation, the founder and CEO of Skyline Security Management still rushed to be by the reality TV star’s bedside as she underwent emergency surgery following a years-long battle with skin cancer.

‘All I will say right now is surgery went well,’ Arroyave wrote in a social media post on Thursday.

‘That said, I’ve never seen @teddimellencamp in so much pain. She’s finally getting some needed rest. I know she is so grateful for the outpouring of love.’
