Kim Kardashian found herself at the center of attention when she arrived slightly overdressed for a family event. On Sunday afternoon, the Kardashian/Jenner clan gathered to celebrate Khloé Kardashian’s son Tatum’s second birthday. Khloé captured the entire event on her Instagram stories and couldn’t resist teasing Kim, who showed up in a formal gold evening gown for the backyard party.
“Wowee, the Golden Globe is here, ladies and gentlemen!” Khloé joked, focusing the camera on Kim, who was laughing at herself while explaining her attire. Kim defended her outfit choice, telling her sister and Instagram followers that she was in the process of moving and had to choose between workout clothes or the gown.
In contrast, Khloé opted for a more casual look, wearing a short white dress paired with white sneakers, sunglasses, and jewelry. Despite being overdressed, Kim’s gold ensemble matched the color scheme of the dinosaur-themed party. Khloé acknowledged her sister’s stylish appearance, saying, “You are the party. I love this!”
Aside from her reality TV fame on “The Kardashians,” Kim has been delving into acting. She recently starred in Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Story: Delicate.” Kim shared her excitement for her new venture with Variety in May 2023, saying, “It’s really fun to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new and grow. I’m so excited for the experience. It’s a challenge. I like to challenge myself.”
Kim is set to star in the comedy “The Fifth Wheel” and Hulu’s “All’s Fair,” reuniting her with Murphy and featuring Glenn Close.
During a June episode of “The Kardashians,” Kim discussed her budding acting career and her concerns about how Botox injections might affect her ability to convey emotions. “I also feel like you need less Botox for more emotion, and I don’t have it,” she said. She humorously demonstrated the difficulty of acting out emotions, adding, “I’m not going to be gaining 500 pounds for a role and losing it… that’s just not where I need to be. How am I going to cry? How am I going to be scared out of my mind?”
