Kim Kardashian’s swanky Malibu Beach mansion has received quite the upgrade, as new aerial photos showcase its incredible views and lavish amenities. The reality star purchased the 3-acre waterfront property in 2022, and it has been under renovation ever since.
The breathtaking views are arguably the main highlight of Kim’s property, as it overlooks the ocean and is just a short walk to the beach.
Last summer, Kim, 42, gave her sister Khloe, 40, a walkthrough of her stunning oasis, which was documented on their Hulu series, *The Kardashians*. In a confessional interview, the Skims founder gushed about finding her “dream” home and shared the emotional moment she closed the deal. Kim hoped that the Malibu house would provide her with a fresh start away from the drama surrounding her and her ex-husband, Kanye West, 47, and their divorce.
The home was previously owned by supermodel Cindy Crawford, 57, and her husband, Rande Gerber, 60. A source exclusively told *The U.S. Sun* that Cindy’s daughter, Kaia Gerber, 22, who is friends with Kim’s sister, Kendall Jenner, 28, tipped off Kim that the home was on the market. The insider also revealed that Kim was proud of herself, as it was the first major purchase she had made without Kanye’s input.
Kim and Kanye split in February 2021 after seven years of marriage. Kanye has since moved on with his new wife, Bianca Censori, 29, who has been making headlines with her shocking transformation since marrying Kanye.
While Kim is putting the finishing touches on her Malibu home, Kanye finally found a buyer for his $39 million Malibu mansion after taking a drastic price cut. Kanye bought the house in 2021 for $53.7 million and gutted its interior. He faced numerous issues with the remodel from the start, and it was never completed. Instead of fixing it up, Kanye decided to sell the property, which he revealed in January. It’s now reported that Kanye found a buyer after six months on the market.
Kim and Kanye have seemingly had little interaction in recent months as they co-parent their four children. The exes share daughters North, 11, and Chicago, 6, as well as sons Saint, 8, and Psalm, 5. The few times they have been seen together were generally at sporting events and activities involving the kids.
