But Hugh Jackman shocked his 7.4million followers by sharing a photo on Wednesday in which he appears dramatically aged.
In the image, the Australian actor looks decades older than his 47 years – but it is possible he’s wearing make-up for the next Wolverine film.

The picture shows Hugh proudly posing by a platter of cooked fish – perhaps the result of his recent fishing trip.
His face looked significantly aged, as his trimmed beard revealed deep wrinkles and dark grey circles around his years.
He wrote as the caption, ‘Now that’s what I’m talking about!’ and offered no explanation as to his appearance.

Meanwhile, several Marvel fans observed in the comments section that Hugh is perhaps wearing stage make-up.
Hugh is currently filming the untitled third Wolverine film, reprising his X-Men character for a eighth and final time.

Last year, Hugh confirmed at Comic-Con that Wolverine 3 will be based on the ‘Old Man Logan’ comic book storyline.
‘Old Man Logan’, by writer Mark Millar and artist Steve McNiven, follows the mutant living out his final days after surviving the extinction of the X-Men.
British actor Patrick Stewart will also reprise his role as Professor X in the sequel, according to IMDB.
