Halloween with Lindsay Lohan? It’s a costume extravaganza, now that she’s choosing outfits for her little one too — but that doesn’t mean she’s without her challenges!

The 38-year-old Freaky Friday star dished about her Halloween woes during an interview with People, which was published Tuesday, October 15, for Nexxus’ new “The Style Swap” campaign. With her 1-year-old son, Luai, gearing up for his second Halloween, Lohan’s ready to make it photo-op central.

“I’m still trying to decide what I want him to wear, but my problem is I always buy so many costumes,” the proud mom told the publication. “And he’s still at the age where I can just make him wear five different things because I just want all those photo memories.” Luai, Lohan’s first child with husband Bader Shammas, seems to be in for a treat — or five — this October.

While the Mean Girls icon juggles her costume cache, she’s embracing both sides of the mom spectrum. “I’m a both mom,” she says, adding, “I’m a regular cool mom.”

Luai celebrated his first trip around the sun with a splashy, car-themed birthday bash on July 17, 2024. Though Lohan keeps mum about the exact date of her tiny tot’s birth, her publicist, Leslie Sloane, confirmed with CNN that he was born in 2023.

“Lindsay Lohan and her Financier husband, Bader Shammas, welcomed a beautiful, healthy son named Luai,” Sloan said in a statement last year. “The family is over the moon in love.” Luai is an Arabic name that means “shield” or “protector.”

Before Luai was born, Lohan sat down with Allure and opened up about the new chapter ahead. “I can’t wait to see what the feeling is and what it’s like to just be a mom,” the New York native said while tearing up. “Happy tears. That’s just who I am. Though now, it’s probably baby emotion. It’s overwhelming — in a good way.”
