Diddy’s resurfaced Proactiv ad has been unearthed after the rapper slammed Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Simpson in an old video clip following his arrest over sex trafficking charges
In one of the old clips, a seemingly inebriated Diddy delivers a blunt message to Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Simpson regarding their endorsement of the skin care product Proactiv. He asserts, “You know damn well that Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Simpson were not using no Proactiv … now y’all into skin care products. Now, now, y’all think its official.”
He then reveals his own “secret,” stating he has been using Proactiv for seven years prior to the ads. “That’s why I got silky smooth cocoa butter skin. So, Lindsay, Jessica, you’re late. You should have followed by pretty a– from the beginning, but now ya late.”
Currently, Diddy is incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center after being charged with alleged sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Despite his lawyers’ request for a $50 million bond, the judge denied it due to the prosecution’s argument that he posed a flight risk.
Diddy was arrested in September following a Homeland Security raid on his Los Angeles and Miami residences earlier in the year, where they reportedly discovered 1,000 bottles of lube and baby oil, as well as photos of AR-15s with altered serial numbers. Prosecutors indicate that their investigation may implicate additional suspects, although no further names have been confirmed as of yet.
He is also facing trouble in civil court. Towards the end of 2023, a lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, led to numerous other claims and complaints against Diddy.
For months, lawsuits continued to pile up, alleging rape, sexual assault, and other serious accusations. Although Cassie’s case was settled out of court within a day, with Diddy denying the allegations, a video later emerged showing him physically abusing her in a hotel hallway.
In a video statement, he took “responsibility” for his actions, but has since denied all accusations of wrongdoing.
Now that Diddy is in custody, lawyers in Texas have announced plans to file 120 lawsuits on behalf of alleged victims who claim to have been assaulted by the rapper, including 25 minors.
