However, Kardashian’s essay about the brothers and the advocacy for their release have been drowned in fan comments bashing her. The hateful comments against Kim come from people, who believe that she was one of the celebrities on Diddy‘s list.
The comments ranged from accusing her of helping Diddy in his alleged crimes to asking her to speak up for Diddy’s victims. The comments under NBC News‘ Instagram post read:

In her personal essay, she shared that the brothers “are not monsters”, referring to the title of the Netflix anthology series based on them. She sincerely hoped the sentences of the brothers would be reconsidered. She shared that the brothers lost their childhood due to the case, in which they were never given the “chance to be heard, helped, or saved.”
She shared that she had spent time with the brothers and was convinced that “they were denied a fair second trial”. She shared that the exclusion of “crucial abuse evidence” undermined the “fairness of their conviction”.
