Veteran music star Brenton Wood who was at the peak of popularity and success in the late ’60s, passed away at the age of 83, leaving behind a legacy for Latino music. However, the reason of his death has still not been confirmed, as per reports.

Brenton Wood has been an inspiration of many up and coming music stars, but what’s more interesting is the fact that his 1967 hit ‘The Oogum Boogum Song’, will always remain as a point mark for the American music industry on both sides of the continent.
What is the reason for Brenton Wood’s death?
The reason for the death of Brenton Wood has still not been revealed, with his manager and assistant, Manny Gallegos, claiming that ‘it was just his old age,’ according to an NY Post report.
His Moreno Valley, California residence was surrounded by his friends, family and relatives during the time of his death, with condolences pouring in from all across, and discussions about his legacy is currently one of the trending topics on social media.
Wood’s manager also said that Wood, just a few hours before his death, said that ‘he may not be here for long’, which may have been an indication. Wood then used a line from Wood’s final tour, that said ‘Catch you on the rebound’. This was probably Wood’s final message to his fans, who supported him for more than 6 decades.
