Springsteen’s yacht party comes after Forbes announced in June that his net worth had reached $1.1 billion.

The Only the Strong Survive artist’s reps said they ‘could not confirm Forbes’ estimate.’

Forbes’ report came after Springsteen sold his multi-platinum music catalog to Sony Music Entertainment for an estimated $500-$550 million in 2021.

Meanwhile, Variety reported that Springsteen has also made a fortune touring, as he ‘sold more than 1.6 million concert tickets, generating $380 million in revenue’ last year.

Springsteen and his manager Jon Landau are also ‘actively involved‘ in producing a biopic about the musician, starring Jeremy Allen White.

Based on Warren Zanes’ 2023 book Deliver Me From Nowhere, the film recounts the making of Springsteen’s seminal 1982 album Nebraska.

Springsteen’s sixth studio album is considered by many to be his rawest and most personal, dealing with his depression and rise to global stardom.

Nebraska came about by chance in the bedroom of a rented New Jersey house while Springsteen and the E Street Band were making Born in the USA.

White is expected to film the movie in New Jersey in the fall after finishing season 4 of The Bear in Chicago.
