Wheel of Fortune Fans slam Ryan Seacrest after he continues to ‘interfere’ in game

Wheel Of Fortune fans slammed Ryan Seacrest for his presenting style after a ‘mistake’ saw him interrupt the play of a contestant.

Ryan Seacrest infuriated Wheel Of Fortune fans after he stepped in before a bonus round was officially over.

The WOF host was seen in Tuesday’s episode as contestant Andy Schwartz made a late comeback to win the game.

The player had $27,000 in cash earnings and he selected the Phrase category and joined Seacrest to tackle the three-word puzzle.

He chose the additional letters “CHMO,” leaving the puzzle reading as “‘_ _ SE_’ ‘ON’ ‘_R_NC_ _LE’” as the 10-second timer began.

Schwartz immediately guessed the last word in the puzzle as he attempted to speed through every possible full answer he could think of. He said: “Always on principle” “Gotta be principle” “Wasn’t on principle.”

On the moment the buzzer sounded as the timer ran out, Seacrest interrupted to say he had missed it rather than waiting for the letters to spell out the answer for viewers.

Schwartz was also in then middle of making one final guess (players are allowed to finish answers they started after the timer runs out) and had to stop mid-flow.

Ryan said: “No you’re so close… Based… On… Principle.” It was clear to the viewers he had given the answer prematurely as he had to lengthen each word to sync up with the missing letters as they filled in.

After Wheel Of Fortune shared a clip of the bonus puzzle on YouTube several fans of the show took to the comments section to point out that Seacrest should have waited for the round to be decisively over before he interrupted and spoke.

One viewer said: “He’s still saying the puzzle when the contestant misses it,” another wrote “Just let the letters come up, Ryan.”

Other disgruntled viewers pointed out that Ryan’s predecessor Pat Sajak always let the full puzzle become unveiled before he made any comment on the player’s progress.

Schwartz failed to nab himself a brand new Ford in the puzzle. Fans gave Schwartz a hard time for not spotting what many of them labeled as an “easy” solve.

One said: “He didn’t make sense to me. He should have known it was ‘based…’ He probably wasn’t really reading it,” as another bluntly added, “This is Easy Solve.”
