“I just met her again yesterday… I met her [for the first time] at the Grammys last year and then at the [iHeartRadio Music] Awards,” shared GloRilla during an episode of the Pivot Podcast. For her, “Beyoncé” is someone she “loves” the most. In fact, her obsession is so strong that she prefers not to bathe again after getting a hug from the American rapper. However, she never really got the chance to express her wish—until now, with the help of Angel Reese.

During the October 17th episode of her podcast ‘Unapologetically Angel’, Reese teamed up with guest GloRilla. As the interview flowed, the rapper ended up revealing one of her most memorable moments she shared with Queen B at Michael Rubin’s All-White party. “I was just standing there, and she said, ‘You can sit down, right?’ I’m like, oh my god… Yeah, I couldn’t help it; tears just started coming down my face,” GloRilla shared excitedly.

This prompted Reese to ask GloRilla about a potential collaboration with Beyoncé. “I be so scared every time,” shouted the rapper. But the “Chi-town Barbie” used her platform to extend a wish on GloRilla’s behalf. “Beyoncé, if you see this—Glo-Beyoncé—that’s what we need… That’s going to be good,” she added.

Because, GloRilla wasn’t the only diehard fan of Beyoncé in the room during the podcast. The 22-year-old Maryland native Reese also loves the music sensation and has been quite vocal about it. “Bye, I met Jay-Z and Beyoncé last night, my life is COMPLETE,” she wrote after attending a concert later in September this year.

The music industry isn’t new to Angel Reese

On October 9th, the Chicago Sky standout uploaded a story on her Instagram, where she was sharing a stage with rapper Nick Cannon. Wearing a gray bodycon dress, brown long boots, and her hair flowing freely, Reese was nothing short of glamorous herself. But the highlight remained her playful rap battle against the rapper.

YOU KNOW I LOOK GOOD, YOU WANNA CLIMB THIS TREE, BUT YOU CAN’T GET ME PREGNANT—THIS SH*T AIN’T CHEAP,” she quipped, followed by a mic drop. It seemed as if she had picked up vocal skills from appearing in music videos and attending concerts frequently. Her interest in rapping has been even more apparent since last June.

This is a different kind of route for me. Like, I had never—I always said I wanted to be like a video vixen. I don’t know why I always said that,” she told rapper Latto on her podcast, referring to her appearance in a music video with Cardi B and Latto. This is also the second time a rapper has been invited as a guest on her podcast. But now the question remains: Will her bold request be fulfilled? Stay tuned to find out!
