Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s attorney called out Piers Morgan after the P Diddy comparison his guest made about the superstar couple on his show.
Piers Morgan interviewed Jaguar Wright on his show Piers Morgan Uncensored, and Wright made a distasteful comment comparing Beyonce and husband Jay-Z to rapper P Diddy, who was recently arrested on sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
Wright claimed that Beyoncé and Jay Z had more “victims” than P Diddy, and said that she had been “screaming” that “Diddy and Jay-Z are monsters” for years.
Piers Morgan allowed a guest on his show to compare Beyoncé and Jay Z to P Diddy amid recent claims
Their attorney, Alex Spiro, told Morgan that those claims were “totally false” and have “no basis in fact”.
“There’s rumors, and then there’s nonsense, and this is one step further,” Alex Spiro told TMZ in an interview Oct. 9. “This is a formal and pointed accusation of something.”
The attorney also gave Morgan an ultimatum to take the interview down.

“Remove that false accusation, that’s demonstrably false,” said Spiro. “Or a court’s gonna order you to”.
Piers took down the interview and issued an apology on a recent broadcast of his show “When Jaguar Wright unexpectedly made several serious allegations about Jay Z and Beyoncé during that interview, as I said in the moment, they were not present to respond or defend themselves, but now they have,” Piers said.
“We therefore comply with the legal request to cut them [the accusations] from the original interview,” he added.
Regarding Morgan’s decision to remove the interview, Spiro said the host made the correct move.
“I think he made the wise choice and acted accordingly,” he said.
Sprio also explained the decision to address the claims Wright made on the show in the way that their team did.
“Somebody on a so-called journalist platform, exploited that kind of random rumor mill and lifted it up, and by doing that they not only caused harm but they are also drowning out the voices of real victims.”
