Diddy explains the 'types of parties' he has in resurfaced Ellen DeGeneres interview

Last month, the rapper and music mogul, 54, was arrested in New York City on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Combs has since denied all criminal wrongdoing and pled not guilty to the charges brought against him.

Following the arrest, clips from Combs’ previous interviews have since resurfaced online as people look for the rapper talking about his ‘freak off’ parties, which have been linked to the allegations against him.

The latest video to recirculate again is an interview with Combs on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which sees the rapper talking about the ‘types of parties’ which he holds.

In the interview, which aired back in 2009, DeGeneres starts by asking Combs if she’s invited to his birthday party, to which he responds by saying: “I invite you to all my parties, you just don’t seem to show up.”

The pair then discuss what goes on at his parties, with DeGeneres enquiring about what time his parties start at.

“Let’s say 9:30,” Combs replies, before going on to add: “It’ll go from 9:30 to like 3 c’clock.”

The early start time is a surprise to DeGeneres, who admits that she thought Combs would start a party around ‘midnight’.

“That’s a different type of party,” Combs replies.

The rapper then explained how this would be followed by an ‘after-party’, which takes place on ‘the top two floors’ of a hotel.

“No, I know about them,” DeGeneres responds, joking she’d heard the song ‘After Party’ and then the conversation moves on.

This isn’t the first time Combs’ parties have been brought up in interviews, with comedian and content creator Jeff Wittek revealing in a recent interview what it was like to attend a ‘Diddy party’.

Speaking about his experience at the party and visiting Combs’ house, he said: “The higher you went, the weirder s–t was going on.”

Wittek went on to reveal that he’d seen ‘live sex’ happen at the party, adding: “That’s the first time I saw that happen ever in my life. And did I partake? No, but I got f–king drunk there. It’s just crazy. I was literally there. I lived through it.”

Meanwhile, the most recent update in the case against Combs has seen the rapper accused of sexual abuse dating as far back as 1991 in a lawsuit involving over 100 people.

A lawyer for Combs has since denied the further allegations via a statement issued to LADbible Group which reads: “As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasised, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus.

“That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.

“He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”
