Harry Styles’ mother reacts to Liam Payne’s death

Harry Styles’ mother, Anne Twist, has posted about Liam Payne, hours after his untimely death at 31 years old.

“Just a boy,” Anne wrote on Instagram, as she posted a photo of a broken heart emoji. Her son Harry and Liam were bandmates in One Direction.

The comments section was filled with Directioners mourning the late singer, saying it was a tragic loss and that he was gone too soon. Fans also told Anne to take care of herself and Harry’s mental well-being during this difficult time.

“Anne, take care of yourself and please take care of our Harry for us! Mental health is everything! We love you,” a fan said.

“My heart and thoughts are with his whole family, blood and band. Such devastating news,” another fan said.

Anne, also a children’s book author, appeared in the One Direction documentary film, “This is Us.”

Liam died on Wednesday after he fell from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentine police said.

Liam has a son named Bear, born in 2017, with Girls Aloud member and ex-girlfriend Cheryl Cole.

Tributes poured in from Liam’s fellow artists, which include Charlie Puth, Zedd, Paris Hilton, and many more.

Liam pursued a solo career, following One Direction’s indefinite hiatus in 2016. His solo songs include “Familiar” featuring J Balvin, “For You” featuring Rita Ora, and “Bedroom Floor.” His latest single, “Teardrops,” was released in March.

One Direction, composed of Liam, Harry, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik, had a two-night concert in Manila in 2015. Their hit songs include “Night Changes,” “What Makes You Beautiful,” and “Story of My Life.”
