During an autograph session, the star was attempting to greet fans when faced with a tough question. “J. Lo, do you have any comments about P. Diddy and the allegations?” asked one person in the crowd. Immediately, Jennifer stopped signing memorabilia, darting off with her team away from fans. Others called after her, telling the superstar, “Don’t leave.”

Despite the pleas, she headed away and through a door, out of sight. This only adds to her streak of dodging any comment about the ongoing allegations of P. Diddy as she remains silent on the subject.

The pair dated from 1999 to 2001 in a famously high-profile relationship. While they were never married, Jennifer recalled that Diddy asked for a divorce. “A lot. He told me many times, ‘I want a divorce,'” J.Lo previously told Rolling Stone in 2001 when the pair were still involved. “I would be away a lot, or he would… he couldn’t go far, whatever, but he would say, ‘So, where do I send the paper?'”

Overall, the pair didn’t say much about their relationship to the world, despite public interest. Jennifer preferred to keep more of the details about their courtship “sacred and private,” she explained. However, at the time, she claimed the split was due to differences in how they preferred to spend their time and lifestyle as she was a “homebody” and he was into the partying vibe.

The allegations referenced include a slew of civil lawsuits which accuse Diddy of, among other things, severe sexual misconduct toward his exes, minors, industry hopefuls, partygoers, and more. The first allegation came from his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, before the pair settled the lawsuit within a day. Diddy denied the claims. However, months later, a video of the rapper beating Cassie resurfaced and Diddy took “responsibility” for his actions.

A Texas attorney, Tony Buzbee, announced a plan to filed 120 civil lawsuits on behalf of his clients with similar allegations. The lawyer began releasing the complaints in batches while Diddy is behind bars in Brooklyn. Diddy was hit with three felony charges, including sex trafficking, landing him in prison as he awaits trial for the indictment. He has pleaded not guilty and denied any claims against him.
