The stars of Emilia Pérez are hitting the red carpet at the 2024 BFI London Film Festival!
Karla Sofía Gascón, Selena Gomez, Zoe Saldana, and Adriana Paz all looked stunning while attending the premiere of their new movie on Friday (October 11) held at The Royal Festival Hall in London, England.
Director Jacques Audiard was also in attendance.
The day before, the stars attended the photo call for the new movie in London.
Here’s a synopsis of the movie: From renegade auteur Jacques Audiard comes Emilia Pérez, an audacious fever dream that defies genres and expectations. Through liberating song and dance and bold visuals, this odyssey follows the journey of four remarkable women in Mexico, each pursuing their own happiness. The fearsome cartel leader Emilia (Gascón) enlists Rita (Saldana), an unappreciated lawyer stuck in a dead-end job, to help fake her death so that Emilia can finally live authentically as her true self.
The Hollywood Reporter believes that the movie will earn Oscar nominations for Best Picture, Best Director for Jacques, Best Actress for Karla, Best Supporting Actress for Zoe and possibly Selena, Best Original Screenplay, and Best International Feature.
Emilia Pérez will be released in theaters on November 1 before hitting Netflix on November 13. Watch the trailer here!
