Nicki Minaj has clarified that she has no beef with Beyoncé after taking Jay-Z to task in previous weeks.

The rapper took to social media Tuesday (Sept. 24), where a user suggested she recently threw shade at her “Feelin’ Myself” collaborator. “Nicki Minaj called Beyoncé a robot” shared a TikTok video with a laughter emoji. Nicki Minaj responded “This is an absolute lie,” in the comment section. The exchange was captured and shared by The Neighborhood Talk blog.

Rumors of a feud between the two artists came after Minaj uploaded and deleted the phrase, “Robot on timing” to X shortly after Bey shared her SirDavis promotion on Instagram, according to Uproxx. While she has not named the robot in question, the speculation comes as the “Barbie Dreams” rapper has shared choice words toward JAY-Z.

After Kendrick Lamar was named the halftime performer for Super Bowl LIX, set for New Orleans in February 2025, the Queens rapper was one of several people who critiqued the choice of the Compton performer over Lil Wayne.

While she has added that there is always respect for Lamar, she initially lashed out, saying “Denying a young black man what he rightfully put into this game for no other reason but your ego,” referring to Hov, who has worked with the NFL and Roc Nation to produce the event since 2019. She also claims she was never properly compensated for her work with TIDAL before Hov sold it off.

As recently as March, the “Diva” performer has publicly shown love to Minaj, sending one of her coveted floral bouquets to thank Minaj for gifting her Pink Friday nails and congratulating her on her recent Pink Friday 2 tour.
