Selena Gomez was spotted whispering something to Taylor Swift and Keleigh Teller during Sunday night’s Golden Globe Awards, leaving her pals shocked.

The chat between the friends seemed rather serious, with Selena leaning close to Taylor and Keleigh to share her gossip. Fans could only speculate about their conversation until lip reader Jeremy Freeman gave some insight.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror US, he said Selena excitedly spilled that she’s “in love”. According to Jeremy, Taylor said: “No f***ing way dude, you’ll have a job getting that removed you know.” Selena then supposedly responded: “Possibly, but I’m in love with it, which is a reference I’m not gonna quit, I’m in love.”

Selena confirmed her relationship with music producer Benny Blanco last month. Some fans questioned the sincerity of their romance, prompting Selena to stand up for her new love. In one online post, she stated: “He has treated me better than any human being on this planet.” In another, she declared: “He’s still better than anyone I’ve ever been with. Facts.”

Elsewhere in the Golden Globes gossip, some fans were convinced Selena was upset with Kylie Jenner and her new boyfriend Timothee Chalamet. After analyzing the clip, one person thinks Selena said: “I asked for a picture with him and she [Kylie] said no.” One of her friends then mouthed: “With Timothée?” to which Selena nodded.

Jeremy thinks Selena also said, “Do you know what they said/did to me?” Taylor Swift then said: “S**t, what the…” Later, Taylor told Selena: “Oh my God, love you,” and Selena answered: “Brought them back together.”

She added: “I tried, I couldn’t, it’ll upset em.” Selena and Kylie have been involved in a feud for months. In March,Kylie and her friend Hailey Bieber were accused of mocking Selena on social media.

Kylie spoke up about the feud rumors, calling them “silly”. She said in a comment on TikTok, “This is reaching. No shade towards Selena ever and I didn’t see her eyebrow posts. You guys are making something out of nothing. This is silly.” Selena agreed, saying: “It’s all unnecessary. I’m a fan of Kylie’s.”
