Sean ” Diddy ” Combs is no longer on suicide watch at the Metropolitan Detention Center, Fox News reports . The rapper is currently focused on preparing for his trial on sexual assault charges.
Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo appeared on The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment and commented on the shocking scandal. When asked if the star would accept a plea deal, the attorney said: “It’s not up to me, it’s up to Mr. Combs. I don’t think it will happen because he believes he’s innocent.”
“Moreover, he believed he needed to stand up not only for himself but for his family, for all those who were targeted by the federal government,” the attorney added. “He felt an obligation to show the world that a black man could prevail in federal court.”
Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently facing multiple charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, and engaging in prostitution. The hip hop mogul has pleaded not guilty to the 14-page indictment. If convicted, he faces a minimum sentence of 15 years in prison and a maximum sentence of life in prison.
