With Telluride residents aware that Gomez would be visiting, a local high school volleyball team put up a sign asking her to sing the national anthem before one of their upcoming home games. Ask and you shall receive: Gomez showed up and stunned everyone.

Gomez going out of her way to make those high schoolers’ day shows the type of person she is. She was heavily praised for the decision, with many saying she has the “kindest heart“. It’s hard to argue with that given her long list of generous actions.
